Tuesday Rise and Shine Yoga 1

These Rise and Shine Yoga videos are similar to live classes I teach Monday to Friday on Zoom. 30 minutes of flowing yoga is followed by 5-10 minutes of guided relaxation. In these videos I have added music by the lovely Anne Malone during relaxation to deepen the experience. See below for a short video showing clips from some Rise and Shine practices.
This 35 minute practice is a beautiful balanced flow. It covers all the basics of what we do in Rise and Shine Yoga and is suitable for all levels. A great one to try if you're new to these classes. This practice will leave you feeling relaxed and energised.
We begin sitting, settling into the breath and easing out the hips. On hands and knees, we flow through cat and cow, a kneeling twist, gentle backbends, downward dog, standing forward bend and yogic squat. Our standing poses in this flow incorporate triangle (trikonasana), warrior 2 and side angle pose (parsvakonasana). We finish on our backs with spinal twists and happy baby pose.
Guided relaxation focuses on facial relaxation with beautiful music by Anne Malone.
