Restorative Yoga 1 - Muladhara Chakra
In this restorative practice, we focus on releasing into the support of the earth while gently creating ease around the hips and pelvis. Muladhara Chakra is the root chakra, located at the base of the spine. As we release this area, we produce within ourselves a feeling of stability and grounding.
If you are not sure which restorative practice to choose, do them in the order they are numbered. So you would begin with Muladhara Chakra and move up through the chakras in sequence.
This practice is suitable for everyone, even those recovering from injury or feeling under the weather. It is designed to bring you to a state of deep relaxation, through a simple sequence of supported postures. We linger in the postures, breathing and encouraging a feeling of letting go.
