40 Minute Heart Chakra Practice
The heart chakra, the seat of love and compassion, is the focus of this practice. We begin with a beautiful shoulder-opening sequence that leads to a supported heart-opener. Next we flow through "akash namaskar", a variation of sun salutation that creates space around the heart. This sets us up for a creative circular version of camel pose (ustrasana). Then we wind down to a guided relaxation with awareness of what we hold in our heart centre.
