Service Description
Saturday, Feb. 21st, 3-5pm (waitlist only) Sunday, Feb. 8th, 9-11am (waitlist only) If you live with regular tightness in your neck, shoulders or upper back, you’re not alone. Long hours sitting, working at screens, stress and everyday habits can quietly build tension — often without us realising just how much we’re holding. This two-hour yoga workshop is an invitation to slow down, unwind, and give your upper body the care and attention it deserves. We’ll gently explore posture and alignment, helping you understand how the way you sit and move each day can either contribute to tension or support ease. The practice will blend passive stretches, supported and restorative postures, gentle strengthening and mindful movement — all chosen to encourage release through the neck, shoulders and upper back. There’s no rushing and no pushing; the emphasis is on feeling, awareness, and sustainable change rather than forcing flexibility. Alongside the movement and rest, you’ll be guided through simple, practical techniques you can use at home — small adjustments, awareness cues and tools to help you maintain the sense of space and ease you create during the workshop. We’ll finish with a deeply restful Savasana, allowing everything to settle so you leave feeling calmer, more open and “ironed out” — physically and mentally. This workshop is suitable for all levels and is especially beneficial if you: > experience regular neck or upper back tension > spend a lot of time sitting or working at a desk > feel stiff or rounded through the upper body and compressed around the chest > want practical ways to support better posture and long-term ease Come as you are. Leave feeling lighter, more aligned and better equipped to care for your body long after the workshop ends. Please note: Numbers are limited and the closing date for bookings is 3 days before the event. The cost is €40 or 2 classes from a class plan. For this workshop, you will need a couple of extra props: 2 x 65mm physical therapy massage balls - Caragh can help you source these. Blankets - preferably 3, including one big cosy one. Big beach towels could be an alternative. Yoga mat Something to cover the eyes, e.g. eye pillow, sleep mask or scarf Note: A 24 hour cancellation policy applies for this workshop. This means you can log in and cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the class start time. After that if you need to cancel, please get in touch directly by text (087-9877552) and if your place can be filled by someone else, you will receive a refund.
