Thursday Week 2 Rise and Shine Yoga

These Rise and Shine Yoga videos are similar to live classes I teach Monday to Friday on Zoom. 30 minutes of flowing yoga is followed by 5-10 minutes of guided relaxation. See below for a short video showing clips from some Rise and Shine practices.
One for the neck and shoulders. We begin by releasing tension in the neck and shoulders, using a belt or stretchy band. Even a scarf works fine. Then we flow through to standing postures like trikonasana (triangle), half-moon and warrior 2, keeping the focus on freeing up the shoulders. We come to sitting for janu sirsasana, first twisting, then folding forwards, with lots of options to allow you to work at your own level.
Guided relaxation focuses on the breath with beautiful music by Anne Malone to take you deeper.
