Because we need each other...

I am still coming down off it. Oasis last Saturday. Well I wasn't expecting that! The most uplifting, massive singalong. My heart was bursting. The joy of it all. Even moments like walking out of the stadium down the road in a throng of people, past a house with Don't Look Back in Anger playing on the radio - we all casually, spontaneously sing along and keep walking. There is something so powerful in thousands of people singing their hearts out together. It is spiritual. And all because the two lads buried the hatchet for a minute. And because my friend brought me and we were transported back to 1996 when we'd only known each other 4 years. A lifetime ago and only a minute ago really because my brain still contains all the words to every song. Pure joy.
That will keep me going as we prepare to knuckle down and get back to school and routines. On a dark November Monday, I will look at the little clip below and give myself a little lift.
By the way, I do a very good Liam Gallagher walk, if I do say so myself. My son said to me, "What if one of your yoga students saw you!" You'd understand. I can love a bit of Oasis badness and also love the quiet of savasana. It's all about the balance.
"Because we need each other. We believe in one another."
Rock on.
